Development Manager, Sarah Dillon, will present information on the initiative, opportunities in the sector and how to apply for production and development investment.

Film Mayo Tyrone Guthrie Award

Film Mayo Tyrone Guthrie Bursary Announced

Film Mayo promotes filmmaking in the county, helping professionals to plan shoots to providing information on funding, publicity and local resources.

The bursary award will enable filmmakers born or living in Mayo to spend two weeks at The Tyrone Guthrie Centre at Annaghmakerrig, County Monaghan.

Mayo native nomination in Irish Animation Awards

Mayo native Mike Heneghan, has been been nominated in the "Best Writer for an Animated Series" category in the third Irish Animation Awards which will take place on March 23rd as part of the Dingle Film Festival. The nomination is for his work on Space Chickens in Space, which is a Disney/Gingerbread's sci-fi/comedy series broadcasting on Disney channels worldwide. 

The awards are sponsored by RTÉ, Screen Ireland, Animation Skillnet, Philip Lee, Celaction, Screen Skills Ireland, Brophy Gillespie and Gorilla Post.
