Congratulations to GMarsh TV on their IFTA

GMarsh TV are delighted  that their children’s series ‘Our Farm’ has won an IFTA in the ‘Children’s and Young People’s’ category.

Filmed on the slopes of Nephin Mountain near Lahardane Co. Mayo, ‘Our Farm’ is a fifteen-part series of six-minute episodes exploring daily life on the Doyle family farm as seen through the eyes of the Doyle children, Liam (10), Dearbhile (8), Ailbhe (5) and Féilim (3).

The series was filmed and Directed by Ballina native, Paula Rouse over the course of a year.

Shhneaky Look! First episode of Hardy Bucks Ride Again premieres on RTÉ Player

It’s only 4 days until the wild men of Irish comedy, the Hardy Bucks, return to RTÉ2 with the new series beginning on October Bank Holiday Monday at 10.25pm. The participants will get an insight into how to approach the scene from script to rehearsal and going for a take. The workshop will provide an understanding to directors and actors of the different challenges facing them when working on a scene. Splanc Call for Submissions

TG4 and An Chomhairle Ealaíon/the Arts Council invite submissions for a special season of Splanc! to celebrate and commemorate 2016 in Art.

Splanc! is the Irish language arts documentary scheme that supports the creative exploration of the arts in Ireland. This season aims to fund short films of 3 – 5 minutes in duration on any art form which will form a collective response to 100 years of art in Ireland. A total fund of €120,000 is available to support up to nine short films.
