We filmed 'Love and Rage' (Daniel Craig and Greta Scacchi, 2000) on Achill Island. Achill was chosen for its ruggedness and wild beauty. The crew fell in love with the place. It was a joy working there. The locals are friendly and helpful.

The following concerns locations that comes under the remit of Mayo County Council.
We will be looking for the following:
- Copy of Insurance Policy/Schedule that is in date when the filming is to take place. A minimum Public Liability cover of €6.5m & Employers Liability €13m is required.
- A specific Letter of indemnity, indemnifying MAYO COUNTY COUNCIL and specifying same.
- For overseas production companies we will require confirmation that your insurance policy covers you in Ireland and that the Territorial & Jurisdiction limits on the policy are the same when overseas. If you documentation is in another language, we require an English translation of the documents.
- A risk assessment in relation to your shoot.
- If you are using a drone, please supply relevant permits and operators licence.
