The Fireman and The Nurse screening in Ballina Arts Centre

Writer/Director Gemma Doorly and Actor Tony Murphy were in Ballina Arts Centre last week to show a private screening of the award winning short film, The Fireman and the Nurse, to Mayo Youth Theatre who formed part of the cast of the film.  Mayo Youth Theatre participants Vanessa Byrne and Adam O’Malley were presented with framed posters of the short.  The Fireman and the Nurse was shot on location in Killala , Co Mayo in April 2016.  The screening was followed by a Q&A.

Tiger Raid: Your chance to buy, stream or download

Tiger Raid has just been released in Ireland and the UK as a DVD/VOD release so it is available on all good platforms to buy, stream and download.

Tiger Raid, is a film adaptation of local Ballinrobe Writer, Mick Donnellan's play Radio Luxembourg.  It  was filmed in Jordan and its Stellar Cast includes Brian Gleeson, Damian Molony and Sofia Boutella.

Roundtable for Artists, Makers, Creatives’ with Michael Atavar, Mayo Ideas Week Event in Ballina.

This special Mayo Ideas Week session is an initiative of Mayo County Council Arts Office and Inspiration Station and will take place in The Kennedy Glasgow Centre, The Quay, Ballina from 10.00 to 1.00 on Wednesday 28^th September.  This session will be of particular interest to artists, architects, designers, craft artists and anyone who is engaged in creative production, but it is open to everyone to attend.

Sing Street Screening and Interviews with Actors at Westport Arts Festival
