Nationwide casting call for a Vodafone online advertising campaign

Amy Rowan Casting are looking for a 7 year old boy (although it is possible it could be a girl) to play a cub reporter, Charlie, to star in a new Vodafone online ad campaign.

Charlie is the ultimate straight-talking, naturally honest interviewer - a child. With the innocence that allows them to ask the questions others wouldn’t dare.
He is likeable and friendly.
He is a cute, ordinary looking boy.
He is a little bit cheeky but in an innocent and comical way.
This reporter has a license to be cheeky, but it’s funny and charming rather than forced or contrived.
He is the daydreamer type, gets very excited or very bored easily.

Any children, who are very comfortable chatting naturally with adults – even ones they don’t know – we would love to hear about them.

The shoot will take place over 6 separate days between June and either end of September or Christmas. The first shoot date is June 19th. The other 5 are all to be confirmed. The Production can work around a normal summer holiday.
They will be doing two castings in the coming week:

Friday, May 22nd (referendum day, a lot of schools are off) in a venue on the M50
Saturday, May 23rd in a venue in Athlone

If you have anyone (and I presume it would only be a couple rather than a whole slew) who you think is right, please contact us asap with their names and ages. We will be setting up meetings over the next few days.

The current preference is to cast a boy but if there is a girl who perfectly fits the description, that could work too. We will be aiming to see 70% boys. There will not be anything significant for them to prepare.
