PATRICK HODGINS: Director/Editor Patrick Hodgins has worked for over twenty years in Irish TV as a freelance editor and director, covering most genre’s and specialising in documentary. He has worked on high profile RTE commissions across historical, factual, arts & and entertainment strands. He also worked with FilmBase (a film resource centre) during the 1990's and spent four years on the Board of Directors of this Arts Council funded organisation. Awards and nominations for projects on which he has worked as an editor include: winner IFTA 2014 Best Director for Somebody To Love, nominee IFTA Best TV Doc 2013 for MND: The Inside Track and winner Radharc 2013 Best TV Program for John Lonergan’s School Principles. He produced and directed the acclaimed documentary ‘Home’ which was IFB funded, in addition to working extensively as a producer/ director in the educational corporate sector. He has also co-directed on numerous editing projects. Previous documentaries include Heart of the Matter (Loosehorse), John Lonergans Circus, Stealing Beauty (Independent Pictures), The Burning of Cork (Paradox Pictures), Seahorse Man (series & single doc, GMarsh Productions), and Republic of Soul (Fair Isle Films).
